
Natacha Rist
Interim Director of Music
Natacha joined St. John's in the winter of 2025. She is a Franco-American Organist and Pianist, born and raised in France. She holds her Diploma in Piano Performance from the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris and her Masters of Music in Vocal Accompaniment from Boston University. For several summers in a row, she participated in Early and Baroque music workshops with the Boston Camerata and the Boston Museum Trio. She is also a founding member of Kharis Chamber Players and of Duo Dolce. She collaborates with numerous professional instrumentalists and vocalists in the New England area. In the past thirty plus years, she has held a number of settled, and Interim, Music Director positions (Organist/Pianist, and often Choir Director) at several Boston-area UCC and Episcopal churches. In addition to her position at St. John's, she also teaches Piano and Chamber Music and is Staff Accompanist at Powers Music School in Belmont, and she maintains a private piano teaching studio in Jamaica Plain.
